SISLEY YOUNG SPRING/SUMMER 2007

The collection uses decorative motifs to distinguish the three girl's themes and the three for boys. While the outfits' styling is “minimal”, their rich graphic decoration and countless colour schemes are explosive, to say the least.

GIRL

Silver and Gold Girl. Sophisticated colours emerge from jacquard motifs with lurex yarns, delicate sequin embroidery, beaded fine muslin. Pale backgrounds glow with abstract decoration around the hems.

Sophisticated little girls of gold and silver.

Fashion Punk Girl. White and black with red accents define this edgy range for little girls with an attitude. Optical patterns emphasise the snazzy look: white embroidered scrolls and floral sprays on black backgrounds, or black on white backgrounds and lots of horizontal or vertical stripes.

Flowered Girl. Meadows in full bloom, vast expanses of wild flowers, abundant showers of printed or embroidered petals, stems and leaves. Myriad colours on colourful backgrounds. Brightly radiant summer fun to mix and match with freshness.

BOY

Metallic Boy. For boys, rich embroidery, warm bronze hues of laminated prints and lurex threads woven onto pale or sometimes powdery backgrounds, close-fitting trousers and simple tops. A mannish mood for the decorative motifs: dragons and striking tatoo symbols.

Punk Rock Boy. Black and white with mottled grey touches. An interplay of layers with studs, appliqués and embroidered patches. Denim dominates: tight-fitting, ripped and ultra-decorated.

Restyling Boy. In other words, how to make yesterday trendy. Lots of exquisite embroidered flowers and ultra-modern slogans on coloured, vintage backgrounds. Prints and decorations overlayered in a total clash of styles.
