You can see the Spring 2015 collection by Alan Taylor at London Collections: Mens

28 May 2014 | + Boyana Dimova

Alan Taylor a graduate of the BA Fashion Design in Ncad Dublin. Upon graduating he is worked as Assistant Designer to Simone Rocha for three seasons and has now started his own Menswear label. Over the past 3 years he has worked with several other designers including Alexander McQueen, Agi&Sam and DavidDavid, designing for shows in London, Iceland and Milan Fashion weeks. Alan is interested in collaborations with creative individuals, be it stylists, photographers, magazines, other designers.

Alan Taylor's collection, 'A Medium for Accident and Change', this was one of my favorite collections, a clever juxtaposition of linen and Irish heritage tweeds produced a perfect blend between classic and contemporary. Sharply cut, well-structured tunics were subtle and well-tailored whilst organza mesh detail created a punk-esque look complimenting the model's textured, messy, feather like hair. Instantly wearable, creative and contemporary.
