The extravagant workaholic Karl Lagerfeld presented his latest womenswear collection for the luxury fashion house Chanel yesterday (March 10, 2015) in France, during the Paris Fashion Week.

The 81-year-old designer transformed the Grand Palais into the best Parisian café - the Brasserie Gabrielle - and his muse, French model Baptiste Giabiconi, was in the role of a barman.

Cara Delevingne walked out first for the opening of the show and all models looked quite French. The collection includes 97 looks and offers a wide range of 60s inspired elegant garments.

Chanel Fall-Winter 15/16 collection includes: traditional Chanel tweed, cocoon silhouettes, ruffled collars and skirts, multi-coloured chevron-print fine knits, monochrome babydoll dresses, long colored textured jackets, trendy pencil skirts, 60s check dresses, embroidered parkas, penguin-like French waiters' uniforms, multiple layers, flared denim, tight fitting shiny pants, cigarette coupe leggings and wide legged trousers.

Lagerfeld presented also several menswear looks, sometimes on male models, in loose pants and textured bombers with colored buttons.

'Don't forget Chanel took much of her inspiration from men's clothes', said the designer.

Every single model was wearing a pair of low-heeled black and cream sling back shoes - a design which Lagerfeld wake from the Coco Chanel archive for the first time.

On the first rows of the event were British editor-in-chief of the US Vogue magazine, Anna Wintour, US model Brad Kroenig and his six-year-old Chanel model son Hudson Kroenig.
