Nixie Clothing is at it’s height of eco-conscious children fashion and claimed recognition across the globe. All materials used are handpicked, reconditioned textiles and wool. The vintage fabrics date back to the 1970’s and have been collected over years of travelling.

Nixie uses only the finest seamstresses in the UK to produce exclusive garments of the highest quality.

Owner of Nixie Clothing is Nicole Frobusch - a founder member of the Mediaeval Baebes used to spend her time in recording studios and on stage. She married Paul Winter-Hart drummer of Kula Shaker and her lifestyle changed with the birth of her two daughters.

Nicole runs Nixie from her office at home in Hackney, London, where she can be a mum and work in accordance.

Nicole believes that every child is unique and their clothing should be an extension of their personality.

The clothes are designed for children bearing in mind what they like: big pockets (to collect lots of things), low bottoms for great comfort, legwarmers to protect their knees etc. The collections: bohemian style embraces 70’s flower power with a hint of fairytale. Nixie is a unique, imaginative, modern version of everything a true classic should be. The philosophy of Nixie is to protect the environment and to be sustainable, so both people and nature can flourish, a culture that can last.
