More about fashion from Singapore
Positioning Singapore as a global fashion city, FIDé Fashion Weeks has established Singapore as the third city in the world to have a dedicated men’s fashion week after Paris and Milan.
The only city outside Paris to have a dedicated Haute Couture week endorsed by La Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, Singapore offers a unique blend of Asian designers, couture designers and ready-to-wear collections. FIDé’s efforts in producing these remarkable fashion weeks have helped to elevate Singapore to its current position in the rarified club of fashion cities.
Digital Fashion Week Singapore, one of Asia’s highest profile designer showcases, takes place once a year in October/November and is the only fashion event that promotes the best young fashion designers through physical events and digital platform in Singapore.
A platform for cool, current and forward lifestyle brands to affiliate with, Digital Fashion Week Singapore directly engages with consumers who are fashion forward and into sophisticated lifestyle.
Since 2012, Digital Fashion Week Singapore has welcomed notable names in the fashion circle include Naomi Campbell, Patricia Field, Guo Pei, Andrej Pejic, Holly Fulton, Jaime Perlman (British Vogue), Sophie Sumner (winner of Britain and America’s Next Top Model), Jessica Amornkuldilok (winner of Asia’s Next Top Model) and Devyn Abdullah (winner of The Face).
Launched as the world’s first shoppable live streaming fashion week in partnership with Google and Twitter and Youtube, Digital Fashion Week Singapore is held in collaboration with the British Council and supported by DesignSingapore council.
Online viewers worldwide are able to watch live actions such as backstage, pre/post show interviews and runway shows, and interact with Digital Fashion Week throughout all major social networking platforms instantly. Viewers are also able to make instant purchases off the live runway.
Digital Fashion Week Singapore is owned and organised by DFW Creative, Singapore’s leading marketing agency.
